Starfield - Talk to Wyatt Earp

After talking to Franklin during the events of Operation Starseed, Wyatt Earp will ask you to meet and talk somewhere private.

Starfield - Meet Wyatt Earp

Meet Wyatt Earp at the Cave where he will reveal himself to be a clone of HH Holmes, America's first Serial Killer.

Here you will have the option to either Attack or Persuade HH Holmes. Your choice will affect the quest rewards, offering more credits if you choose to spare HH Holmes.

Should You Kill or Persuade HH Holmes?

Choice Outcome
[Persuade] We don't have to do this. There's got to be another way. Persuasion check with HH Holmes. He will be left alive if you pass. Credit reward will be 3600 Credits if you pass the check.
[Attack] You're going down, Holmes. HH Holmes will be hostile, and you will be forced to kill him to finish the quest. Credit reward will be 2500 Credits

Persuade HH Holmes for More Credits

HH Holmes serves as the town's deputy, and vendor, so it would be better to keep him alive and talk him into becoming more of Wyatt Earp than HH Holmes. Persuading Holmes successfully also gives you more credits at the end of the quest.

Holmes Will Explode if You Fail Persuasion Check

Starfield - HH Holmes Death

If you fail the persuasion check, Holmes will detonate a suicide bomb in an attempt to take you down with him. This will kill him, damage you, and will end the quest, giving you 2500 Credits as your reward.
