The Enlightened are an atheist group that focus on humanitarian and community work. ... They don’t believe in any kind of higher power. Rather, they teach that human beings have to take care of each other, and they practice what they preach through various community outreach programs.

By definition, the Enlightened aren't actually a religion but a peaceful and philanthropic group of people who don't believe in a higher power and instead work to help others.

The Enlightened have a spot in the Well, New Atlantis. I did not pick the faction trait at the start of my game, but could walk in and do a short quest to help a local. There seemed to be areas I was excluded from, and possibly more quests to do, if one was to choose the trait for their playthrough. O7
