Maintaining the Edge Walkthrough and Objectives

Main Objectives

  1. Talk to Imogene
  2. Travel to Trident Luxury Lines Staryard
  3. Obtain the Schematic
  4. Return to Imogene at Ryujin Tower

1. Talk to Imogene

Starfield - Maintaining the Edge - Talk to Imogene
Talk to Imogene to know your next mission. Prepare several Digipicks before leaving, as you will need them later.

2. Travel to Trident Luxury Lines Staryard

Starfield - Maintaining the Edge - Dock to Ship
Travel to Trident Luxury Lines Staryard, a huge ship in the Cheyenne Star System. Go near the ship and dock to get inside.

3. Obtain the Schematic

Starfield - Maintaining the Edge - Schematic Chest
Go down one floor and unlock the door leading to the Schematic with Digipicks. Make sure to crouch and hide so the guards won't spot you as you open the door.

The chest containing the Schematic is also locked. You can use Digipick to open and loot the chest to get Schematic.

Digipick an Expert Lock to Reach the Schematic Faster

Starfield - secret path to schematic

In the very first room that you enter upon docking, there's a door behind the second guard where you can find a locked vent. Opening this vent will lead you straight to the schematic, but be prepared as you must first get past two locks—with the first one being an Expert level.

Close the door behind you before digipicking the first vent just to be safe. For an additional safety net, make a quicksave before attempting (mostly to save digipicks).

4. Return to Imogene at Ryujin Tower

Starfield - Maintaining the Edge - Return to Imogene
Give the Schematic to Imogene back to Ryujin Tower to end the quest. You can start the Top Secrets quest immediately after that.
