Your Character Becomes Starborn

Starfield - Ending Explained Becoming Starborn

After collecting all the Artifacts and completing the Armillary, your character jumps to the Unity. Here, they'll encounter the Unity, a giant ball of light. They also meet their alternate self from another universe who tells your character that you must give up yourself to become Starborn—someone reborn into another universe.

While approaching the Unity, your character will be shown a glimpse of what happens to the people in the universe they are about to leave behind. Once they reach it, they leave their universe behind and start a new life in another, carrying over their memories and experiences.

Alliance With The Hunter or The Emissary

Starfield - Emissary Ending

Ally Ending
The Hunter The Hunter is reborn once again. His ethic of expediency, and individual will, spreads throughout the universe he leaves behind. Many will find the courage to rise and seize power from those who have it, for good or ill.
The Emissary The Emissary remains in this universe, but your faith in them inspires them to seek out those they believe are worthy of finding the Unity. Many noble Starborn will be reborn under their guidance.
Neither By defeating both the Hunter and the Emissary, the path to the Unity in this universe is left for the people of the Settled Systems to discover on their own, uninterrupted by powerful Starborn.

Should You Side with The Hunter or The Emissary?

Returning to Your Universe

You can choose to walk away from the Unity during the ending. This will send you back to your universe to live your life as is. However, you can choose to jump back to the Unity anytime.
