Get a Shielded Cargo Hold by purchasing one from Lon Anderssen at Porrima III in Starfield. Read on to see how to get shielded cargo holds, what they do, and where to find the planet Porrima III.

Travel to the Porrima Star System

Starfield - Travel to the Porrima Star System

Open the Map menu and travel to the Porrima Star System east of the Alpha Centauri Star System. You may need to allocate additional power to the Grav Drive to make a Grav Jump to the location.

Land on Red Mile at Planet Porrima III

Starfield - Land on Red Mile at Planet Porrima III
Once you are in the Porrima Star System, open the Map menu and select the planet Porrima III to fast travel to the Red Mile.

You may encounter Level 15-20 hostile ships as you fast travel to the planet but a Freestar ship will help you out to defeat them. Defeat all enemies before heading to the Red Mile.

Purchase a Shielded Cargo Hold from Lon Anderssen

Starfield - Purchase a Shielded Cargo Hold from Lon Anderssen
Head inside the Red Mile and find the room that has a ship services counter on it. Open the yellow door on the right of the Red Mile Security to find Lon Anderssen inside.

Talk to Lon Anderssen and select "I'd like to view and modify my ships" to bring up the ship builder menu.

Add a Shielded Cargo Hold from the Ship Builder Menu

Starfield - Add a Shielded Cargo Hold

Press the Ship Builder button and press the Add button to bring up a list of ship parts on the right corner. Navigate to the Cargo tab to find a number of Shielded Cargo Holds that you can purchase.
