Defensive Measures Walkthrough and Objectives

Main Objectives

  1. Listen to Davis Wilson's argument
  2. Talk to Davis Wilson
  3. Talk to Keoni Alpin
  4. Place Keoni's Sensors
  5. Talk to Keoni Alpin
  6. Get the guard to leave the tower
  7. Talk to Keoni Alpin

1. Listen to Davis Wilson's argument

Starfield - Listen to the Argument

Listen to the arguments between the Rangers regarding the Ashta.

2. Talk to Davis Wilson

Starfield - Talk to Wilson

After listening to all sides regarding how to deal with the Ashta, talk to Davis to learn more about his stand on the matter.

3. Talk to Keoni Alpin

Starfield - Talk to Keoni

Talk to Keoni after to learn about her side as well. She will ask you to help place some sensors to try her modern way of dealing with the Ashta.

4. Place Keoni's Sensors

Starfield - Place Keoni

Follow the quest objective markers, and place the Sensors around the city wall.

5. Talk to Keoni Alpin

Starfield - Talk to Keoni

After placing the sensors, report back to Keoni and let her know that the sensors are now in place.

6. Get the Guard to Leave the Tower

Starfield - Get the Guard to Leave the Tower

Keoni's next request is to help her enter the Guard Tower to access the computer. Your job is to distract the Ranger stationed, so Keoni can make her way inside.

You can either Persuade, Pay 1000 Credits, or use your Freestar Ranger Rank to have the ranger move away from his post.

(Optional) Steal Something In Front of the Guard

If you do not want to resort to the three options, you can Steal something instead, to make the guard catch you.

7. Talk to Keoni Alpin

Starfield - Report to Keoni

With the guard out of the way, talk to Keoni again to finish the quest.
