Starborn Powers

Starborn Powers New Game Plus Unique Weapons
Skill Features DLC Unlockables

Starborn Powers are special abilities granted by Artifacts. You can unlock a huge variety of abilities, from manipulating the gravity around you to resurrecting a dead alien to fight alongside you.

These abilities can greatly enhance your combat and exploration experiences, which puts them at the top of the list of unlockables you must aim to get.

Complete Into the Unknown Quest to Unlock

Starfield - Talk to Vladimir

You'll have access to Starborn Powers while you're investigating an anomaly during the quest Into the Unknown. The first Starborn Power that you will be able to use is the Anti-Gravity Field.

Upon completing the mission, you unlock a follow-up set of quests called Power from Beyond. These quests will allow you to track other temples containing artifacts that will give you other Starborn powers.

Starfield - New Game Plus Starborn

New Game Plus allows you to start a new playthrough while carrying on your character's powers and skills. You will be able to unlock this after beating the game's main quest. Unfortunately, you will lose access to any of your items, equipment, resources, outposts, or companions from your previous playthrough.

Starborn Guardian

Starfield - Starborn Guardian

Upon activating New Game Plus, you'll be able to start your new playthrough with a brand new ship as evidence that you are a Starborn.

Starborn Spacesuit

Starfield - New Game Plus Starborn Spacesuit

The New Game Plus comes with an extremely awesome Starborn spacesuit, like the Starborn Spacesuit Astra, with high damage reduction across the board.

To unlock skills, you must use a skill point that is gained by leveling up. Higher ranks can be unlocked by completing skill challenges. Some of the fastest ways to level up are by killing tougher enemies and completing different kinds of missions.
