The first issue of Tracker's Primer can be found on top of a table in one of the structures in Victor Compound. The structure containing the magazine is in the north-west corner of the Victor Compound's exterior area. |

Tracker's Primer 03 can be found resting on a bedside table in one of the upstairs rooms in Red Mile on the planet Porrima III in the Porrima star system.
After entering Red Mile for the first time, walk passed the Ship Services area into the main hall. Once there, turn approximately 300 degrees to your right to see a set of stairs leading upwards. Go up those stairs and enter the 2nd room on the right side. The interior of this room should be dissheveled with static playing on the TV and blood on the bed. The Tracker's Primer should be resting on the round glass table by the window, in between two lounge seats. |

Tracker's Primer 05 on a table in between 2 bunk beds inside one of the buildings in Argos Extractors Mining Outpost on planet Vectera in the Narion star system.
Players will typically come to this location while doing the main quest Back to Vectera. For players who want to get the skill magazine earlier, head to planet Anselon, since Vectera is one of this planet's moons. After landing on the outpost, walk towards the orange and white building on the right and flip the nearby switch to open up the entrance hatch. Flip the next switch on your right to open up the next hatch and head into the room on the right. Go straight and enter the next room to see another orange hatch on your right side. Walk past it and enter the next room to find the sleeping quarters. Enter the second set of partitions on the right side to see the skill magazine resting on the table between the two bunk beds. |
Number of Magazines Collected | Bonus Effect |

1 Magazine | Permanently increases EM weapon damage by 5%. |
2 Magazines | Permanently increases ballistic weapon damage by 5%. |
3 Magazines | Permanently increases laser weapon damage by 5%. |
4 Magazines | Permanently increases particle weapon damage by 5%. |
5 Magazines | Basic and Advanced Combat skills are permanently unlocked 2% faster (on top of any other bonuses). |
Collecting certain numbers of Tracker's Primers will give you corresponding permanent buffs. These buffs will give you additional weapon damage accross all weapon types and a boost to ranking up Combat skills.

Obtaining Skill Magazines will automatically give you permanent bonus effects based on the number of magazines you've collected in a certain category. Whether you decide to sell or drop the magazine after getting it will not affect the buffs you've received.
Bonus effects from collecting Skill Magazines will remain in your New Game Plus playthrough. This will also allow you to gain new effects after obtaining similar magazines you've gathered in different universes.
After activating all bonus effects, the Skill Magazines will no longer have any bonus descriptions and are only good for selling.
