Runaway is a side quest in Starfield. See how to fix Runaway door bug, how to unlock Runaway, its rewards, and how to complete it.
Players have reported a bug through the Bethesda Official Discord channel where the door to Natan's room is labeled inaccessible, causing players to be unable to complete the quest objective.
A fix found by other Starfield players in the Bethesda Official Discord suggests going directly to the third floor and walking near Natan's Room until you get an activity update notification. After receiving the update, you can talk to Minerva about the delivery, and the quest should progress normally.
The walkthrough team has not encountered this bug and cannot confirm it as of writing. If this fix has worked for you or you have an alternative solution, you're welcome to share it in the comment section, and we will make sure to confirm the fix!

Red Tape Runaround Walkthrough
After talking to Rivkah and learning about the situation with her father, talk to Jack in the bar, where you will have three options for obtaining the Whiskey.
You can buy the Whiskey at a full price of 15,000 Credits, Persuade Jack to sell it to you for 600 Credits, or Steal the Whiskey.
If the persuasion fails or you don't want to spend any Credits, stealing the whiskey is the best alternative to get it. Hide first and ensure you're undetected to avoid getting caught. Sneak behind Jack once everything is clear and pickpocket him to get the whiskey.
Invest in Theft Skill and Stealth Skill to do this easily and increase your chance of succeeding!
Following Rivkah's instruction to meet with her father on Neon, head to Hotel Volii, and talk to Minerva Clement and tell her you have a delivery for Natan. Head to the third floor and enter Natan's room after.
Neon City Map, Shops, and Location Guide
Talk to Natan, and you will be given two options. You can either Persuade him to make amends, or Attack him to keep him away from Rivkah.
Return to Mars and speak to Rivkah again to finish the quest.
Regardless of how you chose to deal with Natan, Rivkah will be pleased, and will thank you for helping her.

worked for me. the door doesnt even say anything if you go straight up, im guessing since its the first time most players are going to the 3rd floor the door just isnt updating completely. definitely try 3rd floor, rent room, sleep an hour or 2, go down and ask about quest, go to 3rd floor.

Only thing that worked for me was talking to Minerva when another quest was active
