How to Unlock and Rewards

Players can start the quest if they have completed the First Contact quest first. Depending on the outcome, Abe can be found in different locations. If you helped the colonists settle on the planet, then he will be in Paradiso. Otherwise, if you helped them get a grav drive, then he will be in the ECS Constant.

If you helped the colonists settle, they you can find Abe in a colonist area in Paradiso at the Porrima Star System. You can get there by following the sandy path next to the Chunks store and across the hotel.

If you got the colonists a grav drive, then you can find Abe in Living Quarters 1 next to the Records room in the Residential Level of the ECS Constant. Additionally, if you just finished the First Contact quest, then the ship will still be orbiting around Porrima II.

However, if considerable time has passed, then they may have travelled to a different star system, and you may need to check random star systems for the ship.

1. Deliver Message to Relative

Once you agree to help Abe contact his relatves, he will ask you to deliver a message to one of his relatives. There are several possible relatives he could ask you to deliver to since this is a repeatable quest. Although, they will most likely be located in a major city found in the game.

Persuading the Relative

When you find the relative, you will need to persuade them to take the letter and meet Abe. You can consume a Hippolyta to increase your chances of persuasion. Do note that succeeding the persuasion is not necessary, and you will still complete the quest even if you fail but you will not receive Old Earth items as a reward.

2. Return to Abe

After you talk to the relative, you can go back to Abe in either Paradiso or the ECS Constant and tell him you let them know. He will thank you with 125 EXP, and various Antique Old Earth items if you succeeded in persuasion. You can then repeat the quest by talking with him and helping find his other relatives.
