You will be prompted to choose between killing or sparing Larry Dumbrosky during the Breaking the Bank quest in Starfield. Learn about all the available choices, the consequences of each choice, and which choice is best!

| Spare Larry | Escape the Siren of the Stars unharmed, and both UC SysDef and Crimson Fleet will like your choice. |
| Kill Larry | You will need to kill all the guards in the Siren of the Stars to escape, and will obtain a bounty in United Colonies space. |
During the quest Breaking the Bank, you have the option to spare and accept Larry Dumbrosky's offer.
This choice occurs after speaking to Klaudia Twist and Gabriel Vera and presenting their evidences to Larry once he retreats to his quarters after disabling the Siren of the Stars' life support system.
Sparing Larry during the confrontation is the better choice since he will happily give you the evidence without incident and you can leave the Siren of the Stars without engaging in a gunfight with security.
This choice also prevents you from getting a bounty in United Colonies space and UC SysDef will like this decision since it avoids you having to kill innocents. Similarly, the Crimson Fleet will like this choice since it avoids getting uncessary heat from the authorities.
All four companions will express concern dealing with Larry, but this choice will not incur a dislike since
Killing Larry will cause the entire Siren of the Stars security to attack you, even if you killed him stealthily, which means you'll need to fight your way out of the ship to escape.
Although this is the morally good choice, it will cause you to get a bounty in UC SysDef space. Commander Ikande will also disapprove of your choice since you'll need to kill the innocent Security to escape the Siren of the Stars.
