Orbiting Luna In the Sol Star System
Nova Galactic Staryard orbits Luna in the Sol system. You will find this moon familiar as it is actually the Earth's moon.

How to Dock at Nova Galactic Staryard
Approach and Target the Nova Galactic Staryard
Press the E key on the PC or the A button on the console to target the Nova Galactic Staryard. If done correctly, its name and health bar should appear.
Press and Hold the Dock Button
Once you reach at least 500m away from the Nova Galactic Staryard, the Dock option should appear below its name. Press and hold the Dock button (R key on PC, or X button on console) to dock your ship at the staryard.
Nova Galactic Staryard Quests
The Old Neighborhood
Visiting the Nova Galactic Staryard is one of the objectives of The Old Neighborhood quest. You will have to defeat all the Spacers and Ecliptics within the Staryard to find Vanguard's Moara Slate.
As part of an early quest, the Nova Galactic Staryard is where most players are likely to encounter Spacers for the first time.
The Old Neighborhood Walkthrough
Enemies Respawn After the Quest
If you return to the Nova Galactic Staryard after completing The Old Neighborhood quest, you will find the place filled with Spacers and Ecliptics again.
This could be a chance to loot more or a death sentence if you're unprepared for a firefight.
Mantis Side Quest
Nova Galactic Staryard is also where you can loot the Secret Outpost! Note which is an item you need to read to unlock the Mantis side quest.
This item is dropped by Spacers, and while you can possibly loot it elsewhere, your chances are the highest at the Nova Galactic Staryard which is swarmed by these enemies.
