Starfield - You Cannot Dismantle Weapons
There is no option to dismantle weapons in Starfield. Instead, you only have the option to drop them on the ground, store them, or give them to a companion.

Sell to Vendors

Starfield - Sell to Vendors

You can sell any unwanted weapons you have to vendors in major cities. Find a Trade Authority kiosk or building to sell them.

Sell Weapons from the Cargo Hold

You can also sell weapons from your ship storage directly to NPCs without having to carry your ships inventory. When interacting with a vendor, use the Q button to toggle between Buy, Sell, and Sell from Frontier.

Give to Companions

Starfield - Sell to Vendors

You can give your unwanted weapons to your companions to use them in combat. They will only need one ammo of the corresponding weapon to use it. This method allows you to replace their default weapon with a stronger one as you reach the middle and late stages of the game.
