You own a luxurious, customizable house on a peaceful planet! Unfortunately it comes with a 125,000 credit mortgage with GalBank that has to be paid weekly. |

With the Dream Home Trait, you'll have a beautiful house to your name but it comes with a large mortgage. This house cannot be purchased at any other point in the game.
It starts off empty and you need to furnish it yourself, so if you enjoy customizing living spaces, this Trait is worth considering.
Money Making Guide: How to Farm Credits
If you cannot pay the required 125,000 mortgage yet, you may opt to pay 500 Credits to gain access to your house for a week. After a week has passed, you'll be locked out again of your house, and you can opt to pay for temporary access again.
You can remove the Dream Home Trait by talking to Landry Hollifeld in New Atlantis then choosing the option ”or Give Galbank Permission to Foreclose on Your Dream Home”.
Dream Home has no incompatible traits, so it can be used in combination with any other trait.

The Dream Home trait is best if you want to take things more slowly. You can live a peaceful life, but you'll also need to pay off the large mortgage eventually. Once you earn all those credits, this trait should no longer have drawbacks.
