1-2. Take Barrett to Gagarin and Talk to Him

Take Barrett to Gagarin by flying to Alpha Centauri System. Land on the Gagarin Landing and talk to Barrett about the next plan.

3. Talk with the Lawyer

Look for the lawyer that Barret knows well, Ellie Yankton. You can find her in Yankton Law Offices in the city.

4-5. Find Ervin's Apartment

Go to Ervin's apartment to get evidence to clear his name. You can find his apartment around 85 meters from the law offices, tagged by a quest marker.

6-7. Search for Evidence and Discuss it with Barrett

You can check Elvin's Terminal and the safe (unlockable through the terminal) to look for evidence.
Read through the files on his computer to get an update on the quest.

You can also hack the safe (Advanced Lock) to unlock it. Get a few more Digipicks so you can try again if you fail hacking the safe!

You can get another piece of evidence inside the safe, Contract: Ervin Madani, and some other items.

8-9. Go to the Foundry District and Use the Terminal

Head to the Foundry District and look for the terminal nearby. Use it to get the next objective and what to do next.

10. Get a Passcode from an Employee

You can get a passcode from a Cyber Runner before this quest starts, meaning you don't have to worry about it when you get this objective. It's an Activity where you have to talk to Barrett and discuss a message he received from the Cyber Runner.

11. Use your Account

Open your account (your In-Game Name) in the terminal. Open the Admin Screen after that and Search the Database. Tap on the options after that until all the filters are in place, and you can download the coordinates.

12. Talk with Barrett

Talk with Barrett about your findings through the terminal. He will say that the coordinates look legitimate and you should go there to get more evidence.

13. Deliver the Evidence to the Lawyer

Pass through Ellie for a bit and hand over the evidence. She will say that it's not enough evidence and you will need more to clear his name.

14. Go to the Hephaestus Mine

Head to Hephaestus Mine H-393 to get more evidence. You can find it on the same planet and you can use your ship to fast travel there. Go inside the mine, but proceed carefully, as you will encounter numerous Adult Pests in the area.

15. Search for Evidence

There is a locked Hephaestus Mining Computer you can unlock inside on the first floor to get evidence. You can also find Ervin's or Helgi's Computer deeper in the mines to get additional evidence for the case.

Get a lot of Digipicks to unlock them without having to go back again if you fail!

16. Bring Evidence to Ellie

Go back to Ellie at the law office and give her the evidence. While the evidence you have now is solid, you still need to get a witness, Helgi, who is also mentioned in the evidence.

17. Talk to Dr. Keala about Helgi

Head to the clinic in the city and talk to Dr. Keala. Ask her about Helgi to know where to find him. Although a bit hesitant due to Barrett overexplaining things, she will eventually tell you where he might be.

18. Talk to Clint about Helgi

Head to Clint in his store and ask about Helgi. Unfortunately, Helgi left with 4000 Credits debt, and Clint won't give any information without receiving it.

You can persuade him to give you information without paying the debt.

19. Talk to Lizzy or Dalitso about Helgi

You can take two paths after talking to Clint about Helgi, but that will depend on the outcome of your persuasion. Talking to Lizzy will become available if you persuade him successfully or pay the debt, and talking to Dalitso will come out if you fail.

19a. Talking to Lizzy

Go to the bar and look for Lizzy at the counter. Talk to her about Helgi and try to get information from her. Lizzy will also require 4000 Credits to get info, but you can persuade her into giving that for free!

19b. Talking to Dalitso

Talk to Dalitso in the UC Security outpost to learn more about Helgi. She will ask you to file a report that may take five business days at most to get Helgi's information.

Talk to Barrett after this to discuss the next move, hacking into the system to get what they need quickly. You can decide to hack the system yourself or let Barrett do it while you distract Dalitso.

Sub-Objectives:

• Hack into the UC Security System - You can do this immediately or after you fail distracting Dalisto. Hack the locked file (Novice Lock) on the computer to progress. Let Barrett know about your findings before proceeding to find Helgi.
• Distracting Dalitso - We're currently investigating this part. Come back again soon!

20. Convince Helgi to Testify

Lizzy or the UC Security System file will tell you Helgi's location. Follow his location and convince him to testify to the court.

He will refuse multiple times, but you can persuade him to help you. However, it will be hard as you need to fill up 8 Bars to be successful.

The quest would proceed normally, and Ervin's name would eventually get cleared even if you failed to persuade Helgi. However, the best outcome is to convince him to testify so you can make the Hephaestus pay for their crimes.

21. Talk with Elllie

Report back to Ellie and tell the results of finding and convincing Ellie. She will assure you and Barrett that she can clear Ervin's name with all the evidence you've got.

22. Talk with Barrett

Talk with Barrett to conclude the quest and get your rewards. You will get 5000 Credits, 250 XP, and chance to romance him from the dialogue choice!
