Starfield - How to Cure Infections Affliction
Players can cure infections by using specific medicine or food for the type of infection. Learn more on how to gain the Decontamination skill so that you can also recover from infections naturally.

Use Antibiotics

Starfield - Use Antibiotics
If you have Infections, use Antibiotics to treat it. Note that afflictions do not instantly heal and you need to wait a few minutes to remove the Antibiotics status from your character.

Alternatively, you can also use a Panacea which cures all afflictions.

How to Cure All Status Afflictions and Effects

Visit a Doctor

Starfield
You can also cure Infection when you speak with a doctor at a city. You can find one at the Reliant Medical building south of The Lodge in New Atlantis.

Head through the door and speak with Dr. Alexei Lebedev. Choose "I need help, doc" to get treatment for Burn and other afflictions.

Purchase Medical Supplies from Doctors

You can also purchase medical supplies from doctors when you choose "I could use some medical supplies". This opens their vendor menu which contains only Aid items.

Get the Decontamination Skill

Decontamination Skill - Starfield

Players can also pick up the Decontamination skill by spending 10 skill points in the Physical skill tree. This skill lets you have a chance for the infection to cure itself naturally without using any items.
