Rank | Challenge | Effects |
---|---|---|
1 | Spend a total of 4 Skill Points in the Social tree. | You can force a target NPC at or below your level to stop fighting for a while. |
2 | Successfully use Diplomacy on 5 different people. | You can force a target NPC up to 10 levels higher than you to stop fighting for a while. |
3 | Successfully use Diplomacy on 25 different people. | You can force a target NPC up to 20 levels higher than you to stop fighting for a while. |
4 | Successfully use Diplomacy on 50 different people. | You can force target NPCs to permanently stop fighting (unless they're attacked again) |
You can use Diplomacy by pointing your scanner at some human NPCs, selecting Social, and then picking the Diplomacy command. Security personnel are guaranteed to have the Social prompt appear, so they should be your focus for the challenges.
You don't need to attack the NPCs to use Diplomacy on them. If you fail, you can't try again on the same NPC, so you'll need to look for others to command.
