What Counts as a Habitable Outpost?

An Outpost Beacon and an Airlock

Starfield - Outpost Beacon and Airlock

The game considers an outpost beacon and an airlock as a habitable outpost. With that, you only need to place down these two outpost structures on several planets to complete the challenges for the skill.

Module Required Power Required Resources
Outpost Airlock None Aluminum x1
Sealant x1
Lead x1

The outpost airlock only needs the resources listed above, while outpost beacons do not need any materials at all, but you can only place down a limited amount of beacons.

Good question xD No thanks to these rushed guides, you need to build an outpost and place an airlock on them for the challenge to tick. Haven't tested it on a non extreme planet, but my guess is that it prolly has to be on an extreme one (deep freeze, inferno)
