As Boost Assault Training is a higher-tier Master skill, it is unlocked by spending a total of 12 skill points in the Tech skill tree before it can be learned.

How to Rank Up Boost Assault Training Skill

| 1 | Spend a total of 12 Skill Points in the Tech tree. | Nearby enemies take damage when you boost and have a chance to catch on fire. |
| 2 | Deal 200 damage to enemies using the boost pack. | Chance to knockdown nearby enemies when you boost. |
| 3 | Knockdown 20 enemies with a boost. | Aiming down sights while boosting will let you hover in place. Fuel is still expended until empty. |
| 4 | Deal 500 damage to enemies using the boost pack. | While hovering, time slows down and the world moves 70% slower around you. |
Boost Jump near Enemies to Deal Damage with Your Boost Pack
With one rank into Boost Assault Training, your boost jump unleashes a burst of flames around and below you. This burst damages enemies and has a roughly 20% chance of catching them on fire. Rank 2 also unlocks the ability to knock down enemies required for the Rank 3 challenge.
After some testing, it seems that the different boost mods do not affect the damage or the area of effect for the boost jump's damaging burst. However, the Skip Capacity Boostpack mod will be the best mod to use to clear the challenges as it consumes the least amount of boost fuel and it recharges the boost fuel the fastest.
