Players can start this repeatable quest by completing the UC Vanguard Questline. After you do, you can go talk to Commander Tuala and he will ask for your help on a mission.

Commander John Tuala can be found at the Vanguard Headquarters in the MAST District of New Atlantis.
Vanguard: Safer Skies Walkthrough and Objectives
Main Objectives
- Eliminate Hostile Ships
1. Eliminate Hostile Ships
When you accept to help out on this mission, Commander Tuala will ask you to eliminate hostile ships roaming around a planet. The enemies you fight and the planets you go to are random, so the difficulty may depend on the star system's overall level.
After you take down all of the hostile ships in the area, you will automatically complete the quest and receive 2000 Credits and 125 EXP. You can then return to Commander Tuala to repeat the quest if you want to.
