The Hammer Falls Walkthrough and Objectives
Main Objectives
- Go to Hopetown
- Confront Ron Hope
- Kill Ron Hope

1. Go to Hopetown
After learning from Paxton Hull's slate that Ron Hope hired him to seize farms, you'll have to confront Ron in Hopetech at Hopetown on the planet Polvo in the Valo Star System.

2. Confront Ron Hope
Enter Hopetech and proceed to the factory area behind the front desk. You can find Ron Hope on a platform towards the end of the facility.
Begin a conversation with him and reveal your knowledge regarding his schemes and involvement with the First by showing Paxton's slate.
Accept Ron Hope's Bribe
You can accept his bribe of 20,000 Credits, or 50,000 through Negotations, in exchange for your silence regarding his crimes. You'll also be forced to surrender the evidence slate that you retrieved from Paxton Hull.
Choosing this option skips the fight with Ron Hope and his security force, and you'll be tasked with directly reporting back to Marshal Blake to give a false report.
3. Kill Ron Hope
You can end Ron Hope's criminal operations by killing him. This also drags his security guards into the fight so be prepared as they'll be tougher to deal with than Hope.
Combat Tips and Mistakes to Avoid
4. Eliminate Hope's Security (Kill Ron Hope)
Ron Hope's security guards will turn hostile if you decide to attack him. The guards will be a bit difficult to kill as you'll be outnumbered. You can use the cargo crates nearby as cover should you need to take Medpacks or eat food to recover your health.
5. Talk to Birgit McDougall (Kill Ron Hope)
Once you've killed the security force, talk to Birgit McDougall hiding behind a crate. She'll mourn Hope's death and wonder who's going to be the next person in charge of his former employer's company.
6. Talk to Marshal Blake
Report back to Marshal Daniel Blake at The Rock and inform him that Ron Hope hired the First to steal farmlands. Give the evidence slate containing Hope's instructions to Paxton Hull as proof.
Take note that if you accepted the bribe earlier, you'll be forced to lie to the Marshal regarding Hope's true nature.
