Narrative Heavy Open-World ARPG
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is a first-person open-world action RPG with heavy narrative themes. The game is set in an immersive open world of 15th century Bohemia, filled with side quests and storylines that affect the journey of Henry, the protagonist son of a legendary blacksmith.
Similar to the first Kingdom Come: Deliverance game, KCD 2's combat involves strategic combat where players must execute precise and calculated strikes, jabs, bashes, and blocks on their enemies in the battlefield. Players are also able to use melee weapons, fight on horseback, and perform stealth takedowns.
The game also features over five hours of cinematic cutscenes that follows life in Bohemia through the eyes and actions of Henry as he embarks on a quest to avenge his murdered parents. As players transform Henry from aspiring warrior to rebel, a cast of characters that join you in Henry's adventures are gradually introduced.
Players can also customize Henry's appearance, skills, and choose his equipment. The series is known for its classless roleplaying system, where players can choose to assign the player character roles such as warrior, thief, bard, knight, or a hybrid of these by equipping the player character with role traits.
Moreover, as Henry, players can take part in other in-game activities such as blacksmithing and alchemy. Similar to the first game, players can experience and explore the in-game world in various ways depending on the player character's choices and skills.

A Tale of Vengeance in 15th-Century Bohemia
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 (KCD 2) follows Henry of Skalitz, a blacksmith-in-training, who sees his village suffer a devastating fate and his parents murdered. He vows revenge and goes off on an adventure filled with love, humor, and violence as he’s caught between a civil war in 15th-century Bohemia.
Henry, after becoming a trusted ally of the king, is sent to escort Sir Hans Capon on a diplomatic mission. While on their mission, Henry and Sir Hans are ambushed and nearly killed, leading the two men to embark on a series of adventures to put their skills and friendship to the ultimate test.
