The Desperation is a Rifle that you can get by beating the Red Mile Run high score in Starfield. Read on to learn how to get the Desperation, its stats, and Desperation weapon mods.

You will acquire the Desperation by first completing the Run the Red Mile side quest and then running the course 28 more times. Doing so will make you the player with the highest score in the Red Mile, for which Mei will reward you with the unique weapon.
Note that there are reports claiming that there is currently a bug that will result in you not acquiring the weapon after the 29th run. We'll keep you updated regarding this, so make sure to check back later!
