Starfield - Terrormorph Decision Guide Microbe or Aceles

Use Microbe or Aceles Against Terrormorphs

Choice Consequences
Deploying the Aceles is the safest route. Morally good companions will dislike this choice.
They need to be wiped out quickly with the microbe. Morally good companions will like this choice.

Both Choices Grant the Same Rewards and Don't Affect the Quest

Starfield - Microbe or Aceles

Regardless of the choice you make, you will still receive the same EXP and credits as rewards, as well as a Mercury Tower Penthouse in New Atlantis.

Your decision will not affect the story either, and the only real consequence is your companion affinity depending on who your current companion is.

Aceles is the Morally Bad Choice

Choosing to use Aceles against the Terrormorphs is the morally bad choice as the process takes longer and you get a dislike from a companion who is also morally good like Sarah Morgan.

Microbe is the Morally Good Choice

Alternatively, choosing to use the Microbe against the Terrormorphs is the morally good choice as they are the faster solution and you can get a like from a companion who is morally good.
