Gravjumping to the Key or the Vigilance will automatically determine which faction you side with during the events of Eye of the Storm. Depending on which faction you choose, the story and ending will change!

1-3. Secure Defensive Battery Alpha, Beta, and Gamma
Board your ship and destroy the UC SysDef Ships around the Battery Alpha.
The three objectives to secure Battery Alpha, Beta and Gamma are active at the same time, and can be done in any order.
4. Return to the Key
After securing all three batteries, Set a Course for The Key.
5. Destroy the Vigilance's Escort Ships
Commander Ikande and his forces will Gravjump to the Key as well. Destroy the Escort Ships surrounding the vigilance to help Jazz get a clean shot on The Vigilance.
6. Disable the Vigilance
Once Jazz gets a clean hit on the Vigilance to take its shields down, bombard the Vigilance using your Starship's weapons!
7. Board the Vigilance
Once the Vigilance is weakened enough, board it with the rest of the Crimson Fleet.
8. Reach the Operations Center
Make your way through the Vigilance and head to the Operations Center. You will be met with UC SysDef Soldiers, Robots, and Turrets, so load up on ballistic and laser weaponry for this fight!
9. Confront Commander Ikande
Speak with Commander Ikande and choose whether you will Attack or Persuade him to cancel the self destruct sequence.
10. Cancel the Self-Destruct (Attack Ikande Route)
If you chose to Attack Ikande or if you fail the persuasion check, you must use the UC Vigilance Command Station to manually stop the Self Destruct Sequence.
11. Return to The Key
With the UC Vanguard defeated, return to The Key to celebrate your victory. Savor the cheers from your fellow Space Pirates while you head towards Delgado!
12. Speak with Delgado
Speak with Delgado to earn your cut of 250,000 Credits from the Kryx's Legacy!

Gravjumping to the UC Vigilance (instead of the Key) during Eye of the Storm locks you into the UC SysDef route for Legacy’s End.

1-3. Disable Defensive Battery Alpha, Beta, Gamma
Travel to each battery waypoint. You’ll face heavy fire and supporting Crimson Fleet ships. Use cover (asteroids) to break line-of-sight, pick off adds, then burn down the battery platform. A tough ship build (shields/parts) helps a lot. Destroy the objective and all nearby hostiles to progress.
4. Destroy the Crimson Fleet Defenders
Jump to Kryx and help SysDef mop up the Crimson Fleet in space until docking becomes available.
5. Board the Key
Dock and push inward. Expect stacked pirate resistance. Bring ammo, meds, and a close-range option for cramped corridors.
6-7 Reach the Operations Center and Bypass the Security Doors
Your journal points you to Delgado’s level, but the direct route is sealed by a lockdown. You’ll have to circle through internal areas to progress.
Head through the Depot, then proceed towards the Last Nova Bar. Use the computer behind the bar in the Last Nova to toggle the heavy doors and open the path onward (Remote Security Door Control).
8. Speak to Shinya Voss
In the Reckoner's Core you’re stopped by Shinya Voss - he reveals the bomb implanted in his chest. You can agree to spare him; to actually save him you’ll later use Delgado’s computer in the Operations Center to disable the charge as an optional quest.
9. Confront Delgado
Push through the bunks into the Operations Center. You’ll first speak to Delgado through the window. With a high-success Persuasion, he can stand down; otherwise he may trigger a reactor overload. If he does, move fast between marked reactor terminals and override each to halt the self-destruct while fighting off pirates.
Optional Objective: Deactivate Shinya Voss' Bomb
If the persuasion succeeds, proceed through the newly opened door and optionally deactivate Shinya Voss's bomb using Delgado’s console - if you’ve promised to do so earlier.
10. Return to Vigilance
Wrap up with Ikande for your UC SysDef ending rewards and debrief. Choosing UC locks you out of Crimson Fleet vendors and story support thereafter (trade-off for siding with SysDef).
