Morphed Wirebugs are one of the many useful Endemic Life coming to Monster Hunter Rise (MH Rise): Sunbreak. This new form of endemic life introduces the Gold and Ruby Wirebugs. Keep reading to learn all we know about their features and uses.
Morphed Wirebug Type | Description |
---|---|
Ruby Wirebug |
Crimson Wirebugs that increase Mounted Punisher damage temporarily. |
Gold Wirebug |
Golden Wirebugs that increase monster drops from Wyvern Riding Attacks temporarily. |
These new Morphed Wirebugs make it easier to initiate wyvern riding and improve the recovery speed of your Wirebug Guage. The effect lasts 3 minutes and is indicated by a red or yellow Wirebug icon.
Although these new Wirebugs boast a handful of improvements from the regular Wirebug, you can only use one type of Morphed Wirebug at a time. You cannot have both the effects of the Gold and Ruby Wirebugs active during hunts.
With Ruby Wirebug | Without Ruby Wirebug |
---|---|
371 Damage | 206 Damage |
These ruby-colored Wirebugs increase the damage output of Mounted Punishers executed while wyvern riding a monster. When tested with a Rathian against Malzeno in the demo, the Mounted Punisher damage increased by 80%!
With Gold Wirebug | Without Gold Wirebug |
---|---|
5 Drops | 3 Drops |
The Gold Wirebug increases the maximum number of drops when attacking a monster during wyvern riding. Take advantage of these Wirebugs when hunting for monster materials in Sunbreak!
