Take note that no Kelbi will appear if there is a large monster in the mentioned areas.
However, once the large monster moves away from that area, the Kelbi will return. This can be easily achieved by throwing Dung Bombs at large monsters to force them to run away.
Area 8 Location: On Top of the Hill
The Kelbi located near Area 8 are found on the top of the hill separating Area 8 and 10.
If you are at Area 8 this location can be reached by climbing the walls that stretch out the area. If you are at Area 10, you can simply scale the rocky walls to reach the Kelbi!
Best Farming Spot for Kelbi Materials
If your goal is to farm Warm Pelts, High-Quality Pelts, and Kelbi Horns, it is a good idea to stop by areas 13, 11, and near area 8 while doing other quests in the Shrine Ruins.
However, depending on the quest, there may be a chance that no Kelbi will show up. That is why we recommend that you take an Expedition Tour to increase your chances of encountering Kelbis in these areas.
Warm Pelts are required to complete a Sub-Camp request from Kagero the Merchant.
