The Learn the Long Sword quest unlocks a Switch Skill for this weapon type called Spirit Reckoning Combo.
This Switch Skill changes the blade into a Spirit Blade at the third strike. Drives forward using Dividing Slash then finishes with the Spirit Reckoning combo. Difficult to pull off, but has high damage.
