Title Update 4 has released on December 15, 2025 (11PM ET). The update includes Gogmazios, new endgame content, adjustments to weapon balance, a seasonal event, performance improvements, and more.
Title Updates Roadmap and Schedule

Gogmazios will be first available to hunt in the extra mission Ghosts Pay No Heed To Tomorrow. Hunter Rank 100 is required to access this quest.
Gogmazios is weak against Dragon element and has a unique interaction with Fire weapons, where its body can be softened with fire attacks, making it easier to land hits and exposes its Dragon weakness.

Arch-Tempered Jin Dahaad is now available as of December 23, 2025 (ET). Like the previous AT Nu Udra, AT Jin Dahaad will require Hunter Rank 100 to be accessible and unlocks a gamma armor set.

Arch-Tempered Arkveld has been announced as the final entry in the series of Arch-Tempered Monsters. AT Arkveld will be available on February 17, 2026 (ET), joining the release of Ver. 1.041 for Monster Hunter: Wilds.

Artian Weapons that are at least Rarity 8 can now be upgraded using Gogmazios materials. Upgrades grant these weapons one one random Set Bonus Skill and one random Group Skill.
When upgraded, Artian Weapons retain their reinforcement bonuses, and can be enhanced even stronger than standard Artian Weapons with Oricalcite.

A new process called Transcending is now available, allowing hunters to upgrade armor pieces further. Transcending raises the Armor Sphere upgrade limit. It also enhances the decoration slots for Rarity 5 and 6 armor pieces, making them viable for endgame content!

Obtaining Armor Spheres have been made more accessible through permanent Event Quests. Limited Bounties have also been adjusted to reward hunters with more Armor Spheres!
Best Ways to Farm Armor Spheres

The Festival of Accord: Lumenhymn will also be featured in Title Update 4. This Seasonal Event is available from December 19, 2025 to January 14, 2026, and features a newly-decorated Grand Hub and various other additions like festival armor similar to previous Seasonal Events.

The Title Update 4 release also comes with new optional quests, notably triple hunts. Completing these optional quests will reward you with special nameplates.

Several patch updates and weapon balance adjustments have arrived in Title Update 4 (Ver. 1.040). This includes significant changes such as increased max elemental values for the player's status, increased Smelting Points from certain monster materials, and the availability of 9-Star Rathalos in locales.

Title Update 4 increased the cap for weapon Element. It is now either 400 more than the base element or 2.3x the base element, whichever is higher. This means that 310 element or above will use the multiplier.
How Does Weapon Elemental Damage Work?
All 14 weapons received upward adjustments (buffs) in TU4. These range from increase in damage to slightly adjusted timing and combos. For a full list of changes, check the link below.
| ・Aquatic/Oilsilt Mobility - adjusted to work with Gogmazios' heavy oil ・Guard Up - part of the skill now reduces damage from all attacks ・Charge Up - Charged attacks now deal ~3% more damage ・Ballistics - Level 3 now improves raw damage by ~2% ・Elemental Absorption - Cooldown reduced from 90 to 60 seconds ・Flayer - Increased damage from Lv 3 to Lv 5, activation rate increased ・Binding Counter - Now lasts 90 seconds instead of 60 seconds ・Flawless Armor - Increased from 5% and 10% to 20% and 35% depending on skill level ・Protein Fiend - Effect duration increased from 2 minutes to 3 minutes ・Bad Blood - Base damage increased to 45 and 85 (depending on skill level), cooldown reduced to around 2 seconds ・Scorcher - Increased damage dealt ・Whiteflame Torrent - Cooldown reduced to around 2 seconds |
Listed above are all the changes to the skills in Title Update 4. Several of the skills have been buffed to be more usable than before.
Capcom is continuously improving the PC performance of Monster Hunter Wilds in Title Update 4. This includes improvements in stability and the optimization of CPU and GPU load.
Is There an Optimization Patch?

Gradual update rollouts for the Steam version of Monster Hunter: Wilds will feature numerous optimizations for both the CPU and GPU aspects of the game from December 2025 to February 2026.
