Head to the Depths of the Scarlet Forest

1 Monster Hunter Wilds - Head to the Depths of Scarlet Forest
Head to the Scarlet Forest after a speaking to Werner. While looking for the Erik and Olivia, an SOS flare from the Astrum Unit will be fired, which the party must respond to promptly.
2 Monster Hunter Wilds - Defeat the Uth Duna
The Hunter will arrive during Olivia and Uth Duna's battle. Help Olivia repel the Uth Duna to complete the A Feast in the Deep Assignment Quest.

Carve Materials from the Uth Duna

Monster Hunter Wilds - Carve the Uth Duna

After the White Wraith slays Uth Duna, the Hunter will be given the option to carve Uth Duna. There are no downsides to carving, so it's highly recommended that Hunters carve fallen monsters whenever it's safe to do so.

Talk To Olivia

1 Monster Hunter Wilds - Talk to Olivia
Once the battle with Uth Duna is over, talk to Olivia to head back to Scarlet Forest Base Camp. Completing the conversation with the party would mark the end of this mission.

CheckmarkOnce Uth Duna moves to another area, use the Dam Rubble to inflict heavy damage on Uth Duna.The Dam Rubble can be found in area 15.
CheckmarkUth Duna can perform many lunging attacks.It's large size allows it to hit over a wide area, so be sure to block or dodge accordingly.
CheckmarkUth Duna's attacks can inflict Waterblight, which reduces the hunter's stamina recovery rate. Keep a nulberry handy or evade repeatedly to remove it.
