You can obtain additional Oricalcite by completing 9 star quests. Take note that 9 star quests randomly spawn in the world and are only available for players HR 100+ and above.

Oricalcite can be obtained from Festival Shares at the Smelting Foundry. Festival Shares accumulate materials over a period of time that you can collect for free.
At the Festival Shares tab, there will be an option to either Take All and store them in your item box for future use, or Sell All to convert them into precious Zenny!

Oricalcite can also be acquired by trading 10 Ancient Wyvern Coins with Gawdygog in the Scarlet Forest. However, note that trader inventory rotates daily in-game, so try rechecking at a later time or resting first if the item you're looking for doesn't show. You can also access this trade through Nata
Note that the trade limit is shared with Roqul over at the Smelting Foundry. In other words, if you've reached the trade limit, you can't trade with Roqul for more and you'll have to wait for Oricalcite to restock.

You can also dismantle Artian Weapons to get more Reinforcement Materials, which can be useful should you get a random set of bonuses that do not fit your preferences.
You can dismantle weapons by going to Gemma and choosing Dismantle from the Reinforce/Dismantle Artian Weapons option.
| Reinforcement Level | Materials Recovered |
|---|---|
| 1 | Oricalcite x10 Argecite x1 |
| 2 | Oricalcite x20 Argecite x1 |
| 3 | Oricalcite x30 Argecite x1 |
| 4 | Oricalcite x40 Argecite x1 |
| 5 | Oricalcite x50 Argecite x1 |
The table above shows the recoverable materials from dismantling a rarity 8 artian weapon
The amount of recoverable Reinforcement Materials will depend on the materials spent or the weapon's level of reinforcement.

You can also smelt 300 points worth of equipment materials at the Smelting Foundry to get Oricalcite. Gogmazios materials have the highest value when smelting.
| Material | Points |
|---|---|
| Heavy Drakesbone Oil | 140 |
| Gogmazios Rampart | 140 |

Gogmazios can be repeatedly farmed through the permanent event quest: Specter of Their Sins. Gogmazios is one of the best monsters to hunt, as it rewards Tarred Devices that are used to craft Gogma Artian Weapons.

You can obtain Oricalcite as a reward by completing Weekly Bounties.

Reinforcement materials such as Oricalcite are used to give random bonus stats to Artian Weapons. To reinforce weapons, talk to Gemma, select Reinforce/Dismantle Artian Weapons, and select Reinforce.

Similar to upgrading armor, the upgrade menu would tell you how many levels you need to get it to maximum, and how many points you need in order to reach the next level. Each type of reinforcement material is worth a specific amount of points, with the rarer ones giving more.

To fully upgrade a tier 8 Artian weapon, you need to reach 15,000 points. This will require you to have 50 Oricalcite in order to reach 15,000 and fully upgrade a tier 8 Artian weapon.
| Artian Weapon Reinforcement Bonuses | |
|---|---|
| 1 | Attack Boost |
| 2 | Affinity Boost |
| 3 | Element Boost |
| 4 | Sharpness Boost |
The following are Reinforcement Bonuses that you may get when upgrading an Artian Weapon. Do note that the bonus an upgraded Artian Weapon can get is random.

Oricalcite can be used to reinforce or reroll the reinforcements of Gogma Artian Weapons. These reinforcements are much stronger than the reinforcements offered by regular Artian Weapons.

Oricalcite can also be used to smelt Tarred Devices that are used to upgrade regular Artian Weapons into Gogma Artian Weapons, or reroll the skills of Gogma Artian Weapons.
