Follow the Seregios
| 1 |  After finding the children in Kunafa's Curious Quandary, Seregios will appear in front of the team. Seregios will grab a Seikret and glide down the ravine. Nona will follow the monster to save the Seikret and Alma will tell you to follow them. ▶ Kunafa's Curious Quandary Walkthrough |

| 2 |  Follow the Seregios and Nona as they fly down the ravine. Land on the top of the cliff to proceed. |
| 3 |  Nona will then call Seregios to grab its attention. Your hunter will approach the monster and you will be prompted to fire your Slinger to create a distraction and let Nona escape. |
Slay the Seregios
| 1 |  Once Nona escapes, your Hunter will go down your Seikret and face Seregios head on and the Wings That Rend the Sky Assignment Quest will begin! ▶ Defeat Seregios |

| 2 |  After slaying Seregios, the children and the team will go back to Kunafa. Old Nana will scold the children for not being careful. |

 Thunder is the best element to use against Seregios. Focus Strike its leg after certain attacks. Use Wild Jerky or Rations to cure bleeding. |

You will also unlock the Vanguard's Glaive Insect Glaive after completing this extra mission. You can craft this at the Smithy if you have the required materials.
Vanguard's Glaive Skills, Stats, and Materials
Unlock Tempered Seregios
Upon finishing this extra mission, an 8★ Tempered version of Seregios will start to show up in the environment overview. Take note that you must be HR41 and above for the Tempered Seregios to start spawning.
To reach HR41, you must first complete the mission What Lies Ahead.
