Tetrad Shot is a Weapon Skill that increases the affinity and attack from the fourth shot of your magazine in Monster Hunter Wilds. Learn the effects of Tetrad Shot and see a list of weapons and decorations with the Tetrad Shot skill.

Tetrad Shot Skill
Increases the affinity of bowgun ammo/coatings from the fourth shot and attack of the fourth and sixth shots.
Level Effect
1 Slightly increases the attack power and affinity of ammo after certain conditions are met.
2 Moderately increases the attack power and affinity of ammo after certain conditions are met.
3 Increases the attack power and affinity of ammo after certain conditions are met.

Tetrad Shot increases the raw attack of the 4th and 6th shot of your magazine by up to +10 at max level. The affinity from the fourth shot is also boosted which extends to the succeeding shots if you have a big enough magazine.

Tetrad Shot boosts the raw attack of the 4th and 6th shot of a magazine by up to 10, depending on the skill level. Firing the 4th shot also triggers an increase in affinity. This increase in affinity will be carried over from the 4th shot to all succeeding shots within the weapon's magazine. The bonuses are reset upon reloading.

Tetrad Shot Effect

Upon firing the 4th shot of your magazine, a distinct sound and visual effect will cue its activation. Take note that firing 4 or 6 shots in a row does not necessarily trigger the skill, as the 4th and 6th shots depend on the ammo position on the magazine.

Because the bonus depends on the ammo position, using ammo with 3 or fewer capacity will never activate Tetrad Shot.
