Upon finding the first Yian Kut-Ku in area 8, you'll find two of them hanging around in the area. Be sure to initiate the hunt with a Dung Pod to immediately remove 1 Large Monster from the first encounter.

Remove Fire Blight

Yian Kut-Ku can set the hunter ablaze with Fireblight. Roll several times or in bodies of water to quickly eliminate fireblight.
