List of All Great Hunt Missions

There are 5 Side Missions in total that you can unlock in High Rank. You can unlock these quests by meeting the conditions required for each Side Mission and accepting the attached Optional Quest. Taking on this quest will let you do Great Hunts.

Continuing Conflict

Murtabak expresses concern about two monsters in a territorial fight lasting several days. Investigate the area of conflict and end their fight on your terms.

Plumpeach informs the hunter of a troublesome monster that is fighting the Congalala and damaging their precious pelts. Their increased ferocity is quite noticeable and is also a cause for concern. Take care of the two monsters for Plumpeach.

Despite not being part of the questline, the Make Fluffy Dealings sidequest takes precedence over this mission when you talk to Plumpeach, so be sure to finish it first!

Two monsters in the Oilwell Basin are causing trouble for Sabar and his workers, bringing their entire mining operation to a halt. Deal with the monsters quickly before they cause more trouble.

Apar is on alert as monsters have been getting too close to the village lately. The monsters in the Icehard Cliffs have been on a rampage of late, causing the monsters to be driven away from their usual hunting grounds. Deal with the monsters to assuage Apar's concerns.

Rysher claims to have observed a Xu Wu who was different from all the others. Although there is no conclusive evidence, an investigation will be conducted just to be sure, and to determine if this is something the guild needs to deal with.

Conduct the investigation on Rysher's behalf and deal with any threats accordingly.

What Are Great Hunts?

Allows You to Hunt Two Monsters

These hunts can be taken in any order and will unlock the Great Hunt feature in Field Surveys and Investigations in a region, allowing you to hunt two targets at once.

Great for Farming Artian Parts and Decorations

Due to the sheer number of rewards they offer, Great Hunts are an excellent way to farm both Artian Parts and Decorations. In conjunction with the use of Lucky Vouchers, this greatly expedites the farming process.

Artian Weapons Guide

Requires Progression to Chapter 6

The Great Hunt Questline requires players to advance to Chapter 6, which can be accomplished by reaching HR 40 and completing the main mission, A Break in the Clouds.

The missions are non-linear, so you can do the side missions in the regions where you want to participate in Great Hunts, and safely ignore the others if you do not want to do them.

Monsters Must Be Identified First

The target monsters for the Great Hunt Side missions must first be identified in order for the respective Great Hunt Side mission to be available.

Unidentified monsters will show up on the world map as ???, and you simply need to encounter the monster to identify it, so fighting it is not required.
