The King of a Faraway Sky is a limited time event quest that only runs from April 8 ET to April 15, 7PM ET. Hunt Tempered Guardian Rathalos to farm Artian materials to forge Artian Weapons!
To proceed with the King of a Faraway Sky quest, you'll need to be at least HR 31 to join the said event quest.

From the Quest Counter, select the Event Quests Tab and select King of a Faraway Sky to accept this quest. You can do this by speaking to Alma or opening the Quest Counter from the Tent.

Focus on attacking the Guardian Rathalos's wings and tail to break or sever them respectively to yield more rewards. Additionally, severing the Guardian Rathalos's tail will also reduce some of its offensive capabilities.
The main rewards for the King of a Faraway Sky are the Artian Materials used to craft Artian Weapons.
