From the Quest Counter, select the Event Quests Tab and select Three Tails Better Than None to accept this quest. You can do this by speaking to Alma or opening the Quest Counter from the Tent.

The 1st Quematrice will be initially active in the arena . The other 2 Quematrice will begin to appear after a period of time, the 2nd appearing first and the 3rd also following afterwards.

If you are overwhelmed by the number of monsters in the Wounded Hollow, make use of the nearby levers on the sides of the central arena floor to activate a Fence separating these monsters from each other.

Quematrice

The Quematrice's main weaknesses is its Head and Tail. Any element attribute except Fire should be good against it. Paralysis is a good option as well if you are opting for status ailment weapon.
