List of Contents
Running Jump Input |

There are some short walls, and specific terrains that you can climb over by simply using the Running Jump move! Once you do this, you character will automatically climb over them.
You can find Ivy walls on tall terrains. Once you run towards them, you character will automatically grab the vines.
Press forward to continue climbing, or you could even go left or right to adjust your position.
Grapple Input |
---|

If you want to climb faster, you can Move via Grapple. This lets your character grapple upward and hoist themselves faster to your destination.
During the hunt, you can call your Seikret and use them to traverse walls and terrains. This is extremely useful especially when you're following a monster as Seikrets move faster than your hunter running.
Seikret Mount Features and Abilities
There are some weapons you can use while jumping down from a wall to deliver an attack. These are usually weapons that have aerial attacks such as the Insect Glaive and the Hammer.
With that in mind, its important to get used to the climbing mechanic so you'd have more offensive options in your arsenal, especially when facing challenging monsters!
