The February 2026 Update (Version 1.041) serves as the final update for the base game of Monster Hunter Wilds (MH Wilds). Read on to see its contents and release date!

Arch-Tempered Arkveld
Arch-Tempered Arkveld is the primary monster to hunt in the February 2026 Update! Like previous Arch-Tempered Monsters, players will need to reach HR 100 and above to hunt this monster.

The Arkveld Gamma armor is the reward for beating AT Arkveld. It's great for making mixed sets since its pieces have high points in Weakness Exploit and several Level 3 Slots. Its set skill is Hasten Recovery and has Lord's Soul or Guts (Tenacity) as its Group skill.

Beating AT Arkveld also unlocks 2 additional talismans for forging. The most notable of these is the Exploiter Charm III, which allows for Level 3 of Weakness Exploit.

The winning designs from the Weapon and Pendant Contest are included in the February 2026 Update! Players can unlock both of these by completing the Every Hunter's Dream event quest, which will pit you against a Tempered Mizutsune and 4 Tempered Quematrice.
Every Hunter's Dream Quest and Rewards
New Extra Side Mission and Sororal Armor
A new extra side mission called Love for a Hero featuring support hunter Nadia is now available. This will feature hunting down several frenzied monsters and culminating with a solo hunt against a 9-Star Tempered Gore Magala. Complete this quest to obtain Nadia's armor, the Sororal armor set!
Anniversary Event
Monster Hunter Wilds' anniversary event will consist of all previous Festival of Accord Seasonal Events. This will give the players a chance to collect the items, weapons, and armor that they missed from previous festivals!

The anniversary event will feature the different festivals from February 17 to March 17 (ET). Each Festival will occupy a week, so mark your calendars to target the festival that you missed!
Hunter Appreciation Pack
An item pack that includes various in-game items can be claimed during the February 2026 Update. Simply log in between February 17 and March 18 (ET) to receive the Hunter Appreciation Pack.
Monster Hunter Stories 3 Collab

To celebrate Monster Hunter Wilds' anniversary, a collaboration event with Monster Hunter Stories 3 is available with the February 2026 Update. Players will take on the side mission A Royal Request to deliver Monstie eggs to gain several pendants and the Rudy Costume Palico Equipment!

New 10★ Quests
New 10★ event quests featuring previous Arch-Tempered Monsters will be released in the February 2026 Update. Players who complete these quests will be rewarded with Timeworn Charms. These charms can be appraised to rarity 7 and 8 talismans and Battle-tempered Emblems, which are used to reinforce Gogma Artian weapons!
Proof of a Hero Optional Quest
An additional 10★ quest, called Proof of a Hero will also be available in the newest Title Update. To unlock it, you must beat AT Arkveld in its event quest and clear the 9 Star Special Environment Quests Tango of Lives Ablaze, Serenade of Scarlet Water, and The Wind 'n' Sand Blues

New limited and permanent event quests are set to release with the February 2026 Update. Make sure to try and complete these quests to receive exclusive event armor sets and cosmetics!

Free Character & Palico Edit Voucher
Free character and Palico edit vouchers will be given to players in the February Title Update. These vouchers are used to re-edit your character and Palico's appearances. Check your platform's store page to claim them.

The February 2026 Update was released on February 17, 2026 (ET). This update features the arrival of Arch-Tempered Arkveld, the Monster Hunter Stories 3 collaboration event, the return of all previous festivals, and more!

Will There be a Title Update 5?
The February 2026 Update is the Last Base Game Update
A Title Update 5 will not be coming for the game as the February 2026 Update will be the last major update for Monster Hunter Wilds. However, players can expect a large scale DLC expansion to continue the journey of Monster Hunter Wilds in the future! More news will be announced in Summer 2026.
