Hitzone values assumed are 30 for the front and 5 for the back.

Scorcher deals additional Fire damage when attacks hit monsters. As of Title Update 4, it appears Scorcher now has a fixed damage component in addition to dealing around 20 more Fire damage compared to before. The Fire damage itself does not appear to be affected by weapon type or element. Instead, the Fire damage seems to have a fixed base amount that is affected by the hitzone value of the target. This additional Fire damage is affected by skills like Fire Attack.

When used with Zoh Shia weapons, the skill Whiteflame Torrent can activate with Scorcher. Although the description notes the Fire damage increases per level, it appears that the fixed damage also increases with the level of Scorcher used. TU4 also increased the Fire damage done by the skill.
