Slay the Jin Dahaad
| 1 |  Prepare gear and items for the cold. When your ready, talk to Alma. |

| 2 |  Its time to Slay the Jin Dahaad. Put an end to this creature to complete the Frozen Lord on the Precipice quest. ▶︎ Monster Hunt: Jin Dahaad |
| 3 |  The Jin Dahaad is going out of control has caused an unusually cold climate in the Iceshard Cliffs and freezing over the Dragontorch. Remember to keep warm! ┗ Handling the Cold |
| 4 | One of the main things you need to watch out for in this fight is the Jin Dahaad's Powerful AoE attack. Getting hit will have a chance of instantly carting you. Once you see it building up its ice wall to prepare the attack, take cover! |
| 5 | At the final location for this hunt, you can pull a giant ice chunk down on the Jin Dahaad to deal a good deal of damage, |
| 6 |  After defeating the Jin Dahaad, you return to the Dragontorch and find it unfrozen. The Avis Unit continues their investigation |
Handling the Cold
This enemy will continuously produce ice, so your stamina will decrease faster because of the cold climate. Make sure to stock up on Hot Drinks and use a Heatmantle Bug to battle the cold.
Iceblight will temporarily freeze you in place, making you unable to move. Quickly move your character or use a cleaner to recover faster.

| Jin Dahaad Fight Tips | ||||||||||||||
 Take cover from its AoE attack, if you dont take cover this can instantly cart you. Pull down a Giant Ice Chunk hanging above the area to create a cover for yourself Attack Its Forelegs First and Prioritize Its Head or Rear when Downed. Staying between it legs will allow you to avoid a greater portion of its attacks providing plenty of opporty to deal damage and score topplesBreak the Iceplates on its head, lower back, and tail. This will expose those parts allowing for greater damage while weakening its attacks |
