Rescue the Girl in the Desert
| 1 |  After being introduced to the story and your goal of returning Nata Home. Finish your character customization. You will immediately be thrown into a cut scene after this. ┗ Changing Your Appearance |

| 2 |  You see a girl beeing chased by Monsters and jump overboard your ship to rescue her. Dodge the monsters from the opening cut scene and rescue the girl. ┗ Use Your Slinger |
| 3 |  After rescuing the girl, your unit takes a short break at an Oasis. Speak with Alma and choose your weapon. After choosing, mount the Seikret and follow the brother's scent to a cave. ┗ Choose Your Preferred Weapon |
Changing Your Characters Appearance
You can edit your character's appearance after the start of the game in the save data selection screen. Remember that you have a limited number of times you can change your appearance. You can also change your appearance in the Tent at the Base Camp.
Use Your Slinger
During the chase to rescue the girl you can target the flying Wingdrake with your slinger to get Screamer Pods. Use the Screamer Pods to disrupt the Balahara. You can also use the Slinger to bring the Fulgurite Pillar down on it.
Choose Your Preferred Weapon
Depending on how you play the game, you should take careful consideration of the weapon that you choose. make sure to choose one that will mesh well with your play style.
Defeat the Monster in the Cave
| 1 |  Following the brother's scent will lead you to a cave. Fight the Chatacabra and complete the Slimy Situation quest. ┗ Unlock the SOS Flare ▶ Monster Hunt: Chatacabra |

| 2 | Make sure to keep an eye on fissures in the wall you can trap the Chatacabra there to give yourself more time to deal damage. |
| 3 |  After defeating the Chatacabra, harvest the materials from the monster and complete the Assignment Quest. Speak with Y'sai and make your way back to the Base Camp. |
Use the SOS Flare to Recruit Allies
After a quest begins, you can use the SOS Flare to request help from other players if you are playing online. Parties can be made to a maximum of four players per hunt. If nobody joins your party, NPC Support Hunters will be sent instead.
Return to the Base Camp
| 1 |  Return to the Base Camp and check on the others. You will formally meet Y'sai and Nona after that. |

| Chatacabra Fight Tips | ||||||||||||||
 Attacking the same area over and over again will cause a wound, use focus mode to target wounds and deal more damage.Make use of items like Barrel Bombs when the enemy is staggered. Plant the bomb on the enemy while it's down and throw another barrel at it to deal big damage.Break the stone on its arms and target its weak points.Make sure to dodge its charge attacks. |
