You have to enable crossplay in your settings to crossplay Monster Hunter Wilds for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Check out our guide to learn how to manage your settings for crossplay and how to turn on voice chat here!

Enable Crossplay in Game Settings
The first and most important setting you'll need to update is the crossplay setting. Go to the Game Settings in the Options menu. Choose the Crossplay feature and make sure that the Crossplay setting is set to enabled.
Is Monster Hunter Wilds Crossplay?
Change Quest Settings to All Platforms
When posting a multiplayer quest, ensure that the quest setting is always set to all platforms. Even with the Crossplay setting enabled, you won't be able to play with other players if this is not set to other platforms as well.
Available Platforms and Consoles Guide
Check Your Hunter ID
Before starting multiplayer, be sure to know your Hunter ID. This will be the ID you'll need to share with other players if you want to join them via your Hunter ID. You'll share this with them so they can add you to parties or as friends.
Form a Link Party
You'll then want to invite other players to your Link Party. This will put you and that hunter in one group which can allow you to form a group with hunters that are in different lobbies.
Enter Your Friend's Hunter ID
To invite them, you'll need their Hunter ID. Input their Hunter ID to add them to your party.
Invite to Environment Link
Next, you'll want to invite them to your own world's environment. To do that, you'll need to invite them to your Environment Link. This will bring the hunter to your world's instance which can allow you and those players to move around your world.
Proceed with Hunting
Now that you and that hunter are in the Link Party and also shares an Environment Link, you'll now both be able to participate in hunts in your environment as well as participate in quests together!
How to Activate Voice Chat
Enable Voice Chat in Audio Options
| 1 |  Enable Voice Chat in the Audio tab of the Options menu. You can also choose to set this to Push-to-Talk if you have a keyboard. |

| 2 |  In the same tab, you can choose to toggle your Voice Chat Volume. |
| 3 |  In a lobby, you can check who you're in a Voice Chat with by going to the Communication tab in the Settings and clicking on the Voice Chat tab. You can also set a button as a shortcut to access the Voice Chat window immediately. |
| 4 | In the Voice Chat window, you can also toggle which Link Member or Quest Member can hear your audio. |
