Stamina Thief is a Weapon Skill in Monster Hunter Wilds. Learn the effects of Stamina Thief and see a list of weapons and decorations with the Stamina Thief skill.

Skill Effects Per Level

Stamina Thief Skill
Increases certain attacks' ability to exhaust monsters.
Level Effect
1 Exhaust power +20%
2 Exhaust power +30%
3 Exhaust power +40%

Exhaustion Is Caused by Blunt Attacks, Exhaust Ammo, and Exhaust Phials

Exhaustion builds up by hitting monsters with weapons that do blunt attacks such as the Hammer and Hunting Horn. Ranged weapons can also build up exhaustion by using Exhaust Ammo and Exhaust Coating.

Other weapons also have certain moves that can build up exhaustion such as the shield hits of the Sword and Shield and Lance.

The table above shows weapons and attacks that can inflict exhaustion on monsters. Note that landing these attacks on a monster's head enough times will also stun them.

How to Stun Monsters

Does Not Work Against Construct Monsters

Construct or Guardian monsters are not affected by exhaust as they cannot be fatigued. Consider switching out Stamina Thief if you're going against Constructs!
