Hunting two 6-star Tempered Monsters in a single hunt nets you more HR points than hunting a single 8-star Tempered Monster. Some of these hunts are Optional Quests, meaning that these are always available and repeatable.
We recommend doing the optional quest The Struggle to Survive as this can be done relatively quick and nets the most amount of money.

Hunting Tempered Arkvelds still remain as one of the best ways to reach HR 100. Any hunts with a Tempered Arkveld will reward a lot of HR points, not to mention drop Artian materials which you can use to make Artian weapons.
Fighting Tempered Arkveld alongside another target in a Great Hunt Field Survey Quest or Investigation is a great way to speed up your rank progression.

Another recommended option is the Aberrant Atrocity quest. The Yian Kut-Ku has a low HP pool so if you have a decent build, you’ll be able to clear the quest in the 1 to 2 minute mark.
Even though the individual HR points you get are small, it is extremely easy to clear, which makes repeated runs quite efficient.

Without focusing on Arkveld, it is also fine to hunt other tempered monsters to raise your HR. This will not be a specialized HR point farming method but it allows you to get other materials you need from specific monsters to complete missing gear or get decorations.

Hunting with others can be an efficient way to increase your Hunter rank. By assigning roles, using the best weapons, and choosing the right monsters to farm such as Tempered Gravios, a premade group can effectively farm a monster repeatedly to steadily increase their Hunter rank.
If forming a pre-made group is not an option, you can join other hunters by responding to their SOS flares. Not only will you be helping out another hunter, but the hunt will be completed much faster, especially if it's already underway and the targets have already taken damage.

Although they can only be completed once, Sidequests account for a significant amount of Hunter Rank, especially early in the game.
Not only that, but they are the only way to obtain invaluable rewards and features such as the Power Charm or Material Retrieval, making their completion essential to your playthrough.
List of Side Missions (Side Quests)

You can take advantage of two limited-time Event Quests, Eldrich Enigma and Anguish and Atrocity, to quickly raise your HR. Both event quests reward you with a lot of HR points that will help you reach HR 100 quickly.

9 star quests reward Glowing Stones which are then converted as Appraised Talismans. These Talismans have random skills and decoration slots, giving you a wide variety of choices when making a build.
9 star quests are the highest rated difficulty quests and are only available for players HR 100 and above.

Armor Transcending allows armor pieces to raise their max defense while also adding decoration slots for armor rarities 5 and 6. This new system was introduced in Title Update 4 and can only be accessed by players HR 100 and above.

Gogmazios is the first official Elder Dragon in Monster Hunter Wilds. Successfully hunting Gogmazios will allow you to obtain materials to upgrade your Artian Weapons further, unlocking the Gogmazios Artian Weapons.
Gogmazios can be first hunted in Ghosts Pay No Heed To Tomorrow and can be repeatedly farmed in the Event Quest Specter of Their Sins. Both quests require HR 100 to be playable.
Gogmazios Weakness and How to Unlock

Omega Planetes was introduced in the Final Fantasy XIV Collaboration Event. Its strongest version in the game, Omega Planetes (Savage), can only be hunted by HR 100+ hunters.
This monster can be hunted in the Planetes Protocol (Savage) quest that rewards the Omega Data 2.0, which is used to craft Omega Attire α, Omega's Sword, Omega's Rod, and the OMG Kinsect.
Omega Planetes Weakness and Drops

AT Nu Udra and AT Jin Dahaad are Arch-Tempered Monsters that can only be hunted by players who are HR 100 and above. This means that their respective Gamma (γ) Armor Sets, the Nu Udra γ Armor Set and the upcoming Jin Dahaad γ Armor Set, can only be crafted and unlocked once you reach HR 100.
Once you reach HR 100, the amount of options you have from the Melding Pot increases. You’ll be able to create 2 slot decorations to flesh out your build further!
Until you reach HR 100, your options foor the melding pot will be limited. It's highly recommended that you save your materials until you reach HR 100 and unlock all features, as you'll then be able to take full advantage of the Melding Pot.
The second major benefit of the Melding Pot in HR 100 is the ability to meld Artian Materials into new materials. Instead of just hunting these materials from Tempered Monsters, you now have an alternative source of Artian Materials.
