Event Quests are limited-time challenges in Monster Hunter Wilds (MH Wilds) that players can take part in to earn exclusive armor and other rewards. See the expected schedule for upcoming events, how to unlock event quests, and what the rewards are in this guide.

Upcoming Title Update 1 Event Quests

Title Update 1 on April 4, 2025 will introduce several new Event Quests, for cosmetics, Hunter Rank EXP, and collecting cooking ingredients.

In addition to these quests, there will be a Festival of Accord Seasonal Event that will have its own special content for players to enjoy, starting on April 22, 2025 and running until May 6, 2025.

Arch-tempered Rey Dau Quest on April 29

There is also a confirmed Event Quest for Arch-tempered Rey Dau that is set to release on April 29, 2025. It will run until May 20, 2025, and will allow players to hunt a powered-up Rey Dau for new armor.

2 Event Quests Active on March 26 ~ April 1

The Congalala Craving Event Quest is now available wherein hunters can hunt a Congalala and get Droolshrooms as a reward!

Like a Fire Hidden by Sand is also still available, where a Rathian awaits to get materials to craft the event-exclusive Expedition Headgear α.

These Event Quests will be available until April 1, 2025, a few days before Title Update 1 drops!

Event Quests can reward unique Armor pieces! Unlike Layered-only pieces, the Armor pieces earned from Event Quests have unique stats and skills.

These armor pieces are expected to be only available through these limited-time event quests, so missing the event might mean losing access to the armor permanently.

So far, these Armor pieces have all been High Rank, meaning that they are freely available to use as Layered Armor when they are crafted.

Reach the Necessary Hunter Rank

Event Quests vary in difficulty and require the player to be of a certain Hunter Rank to begin the Event Quest. Hunters are encouraged to complete assigned and optional quests to increase their Hunter rank before attempting Event Quests.

What are Event Quests?

Limited-Time Content With Special Rewards

Event quests are a special type of quest that offer unique rewards; they come and go and are only available for a limited time. Once the event is over, the rewards are no longer available, so be sure to participate in these events if you want to earn the rewards!

Quests Can Rerun During Seasonal Events

It has been teased during the lead-up to Title Update 1 that some limited Event Quests will rerun during Seasonal Events, such as the upcoming Festival of Accord: Blossomdance event.

This will allow players to play through Event Quests that they might have missed, allowing them access to those quests' rewards alongside new rewards such as the limited Blossomdance armor and cosmetics.

A Way To Earn Exclusive Armor

Certain Armor sets can only be obtained by finishing Event quests. These armor sets are very different from each other, and unique ones, such as Collaboration Armor Sets, can only be obtained through event quests.
