Meet Fabius in the Ruins of Wyveria
| 1 |  After meeting with Fabius, you are tasked with investigating the different problems that came from the Dragontorch going out of control. Visit each Base Camp to check in with the locale. |

Windward Plains Base Camp

| 1 | When you arrive in the Windward Plains, talk to Alma to start your investigation. Head to Kunafa and speak with Zatoh and Y'sai to check in on the Village. A Rey Dau is agitating the monsters in the vicinity. |
| 2 | Slay the Rey Dau and complete the Roaring Rey Dau Assignment Quest. ▶︎ Monster Hunt: Rey Dau |
| 3 | After defeating the Rey Dau return to Kunafa Village and report to Zatoh follow his indicator on the map since he may be roaming around. | ▲Visit the Base Camps |
Scarlet Forest Base Camp

| 1 | When you arrive at the Scarlet Forest Base Camp, you notice that the Wudwuds are in the camp. The Uth Duna is flooding the forest. Speak with Sassafril and check on the situation. |
| 2 | Slay the Uth Duna to complete the Tide Overtaking Timber Assignment Quest. ▶︎ Monster Hunt: Uth Duna |
| 3 | After defeating Uth Duna report to Sassafril in the Wudwud Hideout. | ▲Visit the Base Camps |
Oilwell Basin Base Camp

| 1 | When you arrive Maki will be looking for you. She needs to talk to you about the Nu Udra throwing a fit in the depths of the Basin. |
| 2 | You have been authorized to Hunt the Nu Udra. Defeat it to complete the Scorching the Earth Once More Assignment Quest. ▶︎ Monster Hunt: Nu Udra |
| 3 | After defeating the Nu Udra make your way back to Azuz and report to the Village Chiefs. | ▲Visit the Base Camps |
Defeat the Gore Magala
| 1 |  Meet Fabius in the Iceshard Cliffs Base Camp. There is news regarding the Gore Magala. It has made the Cliffs its territory, as proven by Rove, who has been infected by Frenzy. He believes that the Gore Magala is the cause of the Dragontorch's excessive energy and the unusual weather. |

| 2 |  Fabius believes that the Dragontorch can be cured, but the monster needs to be hunted to create a cure for the virus. Once you're ready speak with Fabius to depart for the hunt. |
| 3 |  Slay the Gore Magala and the Frenzied Blangonga to complete the Shrouded in Black Assignment Quest. ▶︎ Monster Hunt: Gore Magala ▶︎ Monster Hunt: Frenzied Blangonga |
| 4 | 
When battling the Gore Magala, be careful of getting Frenzy. During its Frenzied state, its horns will glow purple; this is when they are vulnerable and you can break them off. ┗ Handling Frenzy |
| 5 |  There is a chance that the Gore Magala and the Frenzied Blangonga will come together. Break them apart with a Large Dung Pod and focus on one monster first. |
| 6 |  Once the Gore Magala is defeated, chase after the Frenzied Blangonga. If you can time it correctly, you can try and do a sneak attack on it as you approach. The Blangoga will be with a group of Blango. Try and get rid of the small ones quickly to stop them from interfering with the battle. |
| 7 |  After defeating both enemies, you will return to the Iceshard Base Camp confident that taking care of the Gore Magala will halt the spread of the Frenzy Virus and normalize the Dragontorch. |
Handling Frenzy
The Frenzy virus causes Monsters to have higher strength and speed. Be careful since this can also infect the Hunter, which not only increases the damage taken from their attacks but also prevents you from naturally healing outside of using items. Make sure to have a Nulberry on hand to manage its effects.

| Rey Dau Fight Tips | ||||||||||||||
 Use Flash Pods to bring the Rey Dau down when it's flying.Use Focus Strike When Its Horns Overheat after a lightning beam attack.Stack on Elemental Resistance! A lot of the rey Dau's attacks are lightning so prepare accordingly before the fight.Stay on its Legs. It'll have a harder time reaching you this way and you'll have higher chances to topple your enemy. |

Once Uth Duna moves to another area, use the Dam Rubble to inflict heavy damage on Uth Duna.The Dam Rubble can be found in area 15. Uth Duna can perform many lunging attacks.It's large size allows it to hit over a wide area, so be sure to block or dodge accordingly.Uth Duna's attacks can inflict Waterblight, which reduces the hunter's stamina recovery rate. Keep a nulberry handy or evade repeatedly to remove it. |
