Obtain Through Material Retrieval
The best method to collect Honey is to unlock and utilize the Material Retrieval feature. Once players unlock all five gatherers and utilize them purely for Honey gathering, they can collect 200 - 300 Honey in one go.

Use Windward Plains Farming Route

Above is an efficient farming method for collecting Honey. Regarding the second and third points of collection, players can utilize the Filter View feature to track and auto-path toward their nodes, as getting to them is tricky.
Go to Area 13 Camp During Plenty weather
If the region currently has Plenty weather, players can fast travel to the Area 13: Oasis pop-up camp and harvest the surrounding Honey nodes that only appear during said weather.

Players should set up the Area 8: Southeast and Area 13: Oasis pop-up camps to make the farming route efficient. However, they should note that these spots are dangerous, so they should always check if they are still up before starting the route.

As implied above, players should farm for Honey whenever the weather is Plenty. During this weather, the number of gathering points increases by 2-3 fold, resulting in more Honey obtained per farming session.
Use Quests to Change Weather
Players can forcibly change the weather to Plenty by undertaking quests that change the weather to it.
Quest Rewards
Players can also obtain Honey as quest rewards from doing the quests above. However, this is arguably the least efficient way to farm and obtain it.

Auto-Craft and Use Using Radial Menu Shortcut
If players have the ingredients to make any of the items above, they can auto-craft and use them on the spot if they are a shortcut on their Radial Menu. With this, players can collect ingredients and use them during quests and missions.
