Reach High Rank

Capture a High Rank Yian Kut-Ku

You can unlock Layered Armor crafting after reaching High Rank once you complete the game's main story. You need to defeat the Low Rank boss and complete the quest where you need to capture a Yian Kut-Ku to reach this point.

Craft High Rank Versions of the Armor

High Rank Armor Can Be Forged

The primary method for obtaining Layered Armor is to craft the armor's High Rank variation. This will allow you to equip that armor's appearance. You'll be able to do this when you reach Chapter 4.

There are also optional layered armor that you can get from pre-ordering or purchasing the deluxe edition of the game.

There are armors that can be purchased from the shop while there are exclusive armors that can only be claimed via the pre-order bonuses.

Layered Weapons Are Currently Unavailable

Unlike Layered Armor which can be obtained via crafting, Layered Weapons are currently unobtainable in the game.

How to Equip Layered Armor

Equip Via Equipment Appearance in the Tent

Layered Armor Screen.png

Layered Armor can be equipped by returning to a tent. From there, choose the Equipment Appearance from the Appearance tab to choose which layered armor you want to equip.

While here, you can also change the layered armor's pigment to further customize the armor to your liking.
