Before entering Title Update 1, it is ideal that you already have an endgame build for your main weapon. In doing so, you can jump straight into the Title Update without worrying about the monsters defeating you in just one hit.
Make sure to upgrade your Armor to increase your defense, as well as farm Decorations to get the Skills that you need.
Builds and Best Armor for Each Weapon

It is ideal that you are at least Hunter Rank (HR) 41 before the Title Update launches. Title Updates from previous Monster Hunter games usually had a Hunter Rank requirement before you could take part in its quests.
Although no official announcement has been made yet regarding an HR requirement for Title Update 1, it's safe to assume that you must have at least finished the High Rank storyline, which uncaps your HR and allows you to go past HR40.
Hunter Rank Farm Guide and Unlocks

Mizutsune is a returning monster first introduced back in Monster Hunter Generations, with its last appearance being in Monster Hunter Rise. Thanks to this, it is possible to study and learn about Mizutsune as early as now based on information from previous games.
To cover some of the basics, if you want to use an Elemental weapon on Mizutsune, make sure to bring a Thunder Element weapon as it is weak to Thunder. Additionally, bring Nulberries and Cleansers to counter the Blights it can cause.

So that you can focus hunting once the Title Update arrives, make sure to stock up on important consumables so that you don't have to go out and gather materials you may be lacking like Thunderbug Capacitors for Shock Traps or Mandragoras for Max Potions.
Alternatively, you can also unlock the Material Retrieval to have them get your needed items for you.

It is possible that new features that require Zenny or Guild Points will get introduced in Title Update 1, such as new upgrade systems and the like. As such, farm as much Zenny and Guild Points as possible so you can prepare for them.
